Suprex Learning’s SAT Prep Tutors Course
Our SAT Prep Tutors program, at Suprex Learning, was devised by 4 educational specialist who have more then 10 years of academic testing experience. We’ve created our program to be unique from the other testing centers who clearly emphasize on test hacking strategies. At Suprex Learning we believe in 2 main aspects of test preparation: test taking strategies and going over the content of the test whether it be the Math or Verbal section of the test. We offer an SAT Prep program that will provide your student with all the material, information, practice and instruction they need to succeed. Your student has invested a lot of time into doing well in their academics and a lot of energy into participating in extra-curricular activities and frankly, the SAT demands a similar amount of attention. For some, that is accomplished independently, but for many that means enrolling in an SAT Test Prep tutors program. At Suprex, we know what we’re doing.
SAT Prep Courses: Increase Score Improvements
At Suprex Learning, we get results. On average, our SAT students improve their overall score by an average of 250 points. How do we achieve this? We don’t use the same approach for every student, instead we restructure our approach depending on the needs each unique student. This is accomplished by an in depth analysis of your student’s performance on each section of the test which helps our instructors identify problem areas to focus on.
Math SAT Prep Tutors
At Suprex our specially designed 22 lesson program includes two sections of lessons on math, a basic math section and an advanced math portion. Our tutors won’t just teach the math covered on the exam, they also teach the types of questions on the exam along with our best math hacks. It doesn’t matter how confident or skilled your student is in math coming into our program, they will leave our Math SAT tutoring program in Houston with the knowledge they need to score well. Our SAT Prep tutors are patient and empathetic to your student’s struggles, whatever they may be. We’ve all been there and at Suprex, we know how to get you and your student through it.
In order to succeed on the Math section of the SAT, your student will need to have a clear understanding of the following topics:
- Number and Operations
- Algebra and Functions
- Geometry and Measurement
- Data Analysis, Statistics and Probability
Verbal SAT Test Prep
Our Verbal SAT tutors have all been trained on the latest test hacking methods and have complete mastery of the English language and its grammar. At Suprex Learning we know that acing the SAT Verbal section is more than having a great vocabulary. It involves understanding the rhetoric of the exam itself as well as the rhetoric within each passage the questions are based on. Simply being “good” at English is not enough to get the score you really want to see; our Suprex SAT Verbal tutors know how to bridge that gap and coax stellar results from your student.
The Verbal section of the SAT includes critical reading, writing, and an essay. For verbal SAT Prep Test you can count on the Suprex Learning Center. We understand to be successful on the verbal section of the SAT your student will need to have a strong vocabulary, an understanding of various subjects (Natural sciences, Humanities, Social science, and Literary fiction) and be able to make educated inferences from the text. Your student will also need to be familiar with the logic of analogies or arguments. At Suprex Learning we understand that being able to master all of these tasks isn’t as simple as studying vocabulary flash cards or even doing practice exams.
Writing Section SAT Prep Classes:
There are formulas that some SAT Prep courses use, but a high essay score requires more than knowing the write equation. Suprex has combed through all the available theories out there and created the ultimate SAT Writing guide. Our guide not only explains what graders want to see in each essay, but why they want to see it. Knowing why helps students better understand how to address the prompt and create a stronger essay.
For many students, the writing section of the SAT poses the most difficulty. Students are expected to complete an essay along with multiple choice questions. Your student will need to be able to develop a point of view based on information presented in the text, support the their point of view using logic and understanding as well as follow all the conventions of standard English. At Suprex Learning our SAT Prep Tutors division have the knowledge and know-how on how to help your student be ready for the writing portion of the SAT. Our tutors are trained to help your student respond quickly to a number of different topics without having to adhere too strictly to specific literary references. In our writing SAT Prep Classes we make sure that your student is able to read and understand the given writing prompts, map out the outline for their response and create a clear and well thought out essay to achieve a great score. Writing essays can be tricky for some students but we are committed to teaching students the techniques to be successful. We help to break down these certain key elements so that your child isn’t adding unneeded information that may possibly cost them on their exam.
